Tenby

A walled medieval seaside town on the south Pembrokeshire coast, with two sandy beaches divided by a rocky headland topped by the ruins of Tenby Castle. The pastel-colored Georgian houses around the harbor are one of the most photographed scenes in Wales. The 13th-century town walls remain substantially intact. The Tudor Merchant's House (National Trust) is one of the oldest surviving furnished houses in Wales. Boat trips run from the harbor to Caldey Island, home to a Cistercian monastery. Tenby is at the heart of the Pembrokeshire Coast National Park.
